Supporting Children and Youth to Grieve After a Suicide Loss (Toolkit)

The Canadian Mental Health Association PEI Division has created a resource kit titled "Supporting Children and Youth to Grieve After Suicide Loss" to assist parents and caregivers in providing support to children and youth dealing with the aftermath of a loved one's suicide. This Kit is designed to help caregivers talk with children and youth about the concepts of death and suicide in a manner that resonates and aids in their understanding. It also presents a range of activities to help them cope and work through the emotions associated with the loss from suicide. The Kit includes a Parent/Caregiver Booklet and workbooks for children and youth. The Kit is available virtually (in PDF formats) and in hard copy (if requested).
